TOILET REBATE GUIDELINES

ONLY TOILET(S) PURCHASED DURING THESE DATES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR REBATE - MAY 25, 2012 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2014
***To be eligible for the rebate - You MUST be a Seminole County Environmental Services water customer, this means you pay your water bill to Seminole County Environmental Services Water & Sewer (not paid to another city or private utility)***
Your receipt must be dated between May 25, 2012 - September 30, 2014, to be eligible for a rebate. ALL REBATE APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS and PICTURES MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 30, 2014. New toilet(s) must also be installed before turning in application.

To participate in the Toilet Rebate Program, you can contact the Water Conservation Coordinator, Debbie at (407) 665-2121 or Rob at (407) 665-2135, to check on program participation eligibility, or click on the links below for the FAQ's and Eligibility procedures. Rebates are up to $100 each for replacing a high flow toilet (3.5 gpf) or higher, with a HET 1.28 gpf WATERSENSE labeled toilet. There is a Maximum of up to $200 for replacing Two (2) toilets. Please call the office to ask about eligibility in rebating a dual flush toilet.
Program Duration: You must purchase your toilet(s) between May 25, 2012 to September 30, 2014.
Fill out the Rebate Application and send along with the Original sales receipt and the WaterSense labeled logo, listing separate costs for the High Efficiency Toilet(s) 1.28 gpf HET, toilet seats or installation are not eligible for rebate.
REQUIRED ITEMS TO SUBMIT FOR REBATE:
Fill out customer survey AFTER toilet installation-*Must complete before rebate will be refunded
- Completed Application (Signed and Dated)
- Original sales receipt for the new 1.28 gpf toilet, and the WaterSense logo (cut from toilet box packaging)
- Photo of old toilet before removal 3.5 gpf (gallons per flush) or higher
- Photo of new toilet installed 1.28 gpf WaterSense labeled toilet
Mail or hand deliver forms to Seminole County Water Conservation, Toilet Rebate Program, 500 W. Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford, FL. 32773.
Make a copy of your receipt before sending, due to originals will not be returned.
Send only one application for each service address, no matter how many toilets are installed (1 or 2 maximum). TOILET REBATE PROGRAM IS ONLY FOR HOMES BUILT PRIOR TO 1994. Each participating customer must agree to complete a short water conservation survey, and return it to the Water Conservation Section via on line. Also, you may be contacted by the rebate program coordinator to schedule an on-site installation verification inspection.
Toilet performance varies, so choose wisely, and check out Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WaterSense web site http://www.epa.gov/watersense/product_search.html or www.map-testing.com to find out the performance information on different toilet fixture models. Please note the County does not guarantee toilet performance or workmanship.
A maximum of two (2) toilets to be rebated per single family dwelling (includes Single-Family Homes-Owner Occupied, Resident-Owned Condos and Mobile Homes).
Rebates are: up to $100 for each Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) WaterSense labeled High Efficiency Toilet (HET) Toilet(s) 1.28 gpf, (Two (2) maximum per residence $200).
Commercial properties and businesses are not eligible at this time for toilet rebates.
The County reserves the right to withhold a rebate for failure to comply with program requirements.
Please take this survey AFTER toilet has been replaced and application has been submitted.
